What's the money-back pass guarantee, exactly?
If you (a) buy Pro at full price, (b) complete 90% of the 2,032-question bank, (c) score 75%+ on at least 2 Full mock exams on separate days, (d) keep your SRS reviews current in the final 30 days before your exam, (e) sit your qualifying mock within 90 days of the actual USPTO Patent Bar attempt, (f) sit the USPTO Patent Bar within 12 months of purchasing Pro, and (g) score below 70% on the actual exam, you get a full refund. Submit within 30 days of failing with your USPTO score report.
Why no money-back guarantee at Standard?
We're new. We don't yet have published cohort pass-rate data. Until we have ≥30 alumni passes on a public /pass-rate tracker, we can't price a Standard-tier guarantee responsibly. Standard does include a 14-day no-questions refund and a free 6-month extension if you sit the USPTO and fail.
How is your spaced repetition different from flashcards?
Flashcards are static decks — you see them in the order someone authored them. Real SRS uses the SM-2 algorithm to schedule each card individually based on how well you remembered it last time and how confident you were. After a week or two of use, the system shows you the right card on the right day with no manual scheduling. Wysebridge and Elite Patent Prep both ship flashcards; neither runs an SRS algorithm.
What's confidence-graded grading?
When you answer a question, you tap one of three buttons: Guessed, Unsure, or Confident. The grade combines correctness with confidence — guessing right still flags the topic for review, because guessing right is luck, not knowledge. This drives both your SM-2 scheduling and your Bloom's taxonomy progression.
Can I switch from Standard to Pro later?
Yes. Upgrade is the difference between the tiers ($150 if both at list price). Your SRS state, mock exam history, and mastery records carry over.
Do you ship video lectures?
Not yet. Video is on the post-launch roadmap (after native mobile apps and audio). At launch, our pedagogy is built on adaptive practice + spaced repetition + AI diagnosis, which the cognitive-science research shows produces better retention per hour than passive video.
